雙重舉牌

雙重舉牌是快速準確地把兩張牌拿在手中，向觀眾展示清楚，使他們確信只有一張牌，從而達到將一張牌變成另一張牌的目的。這是撲克魔術中用途最廣泛的技巧性動作。
1．左手手掌向上握住一副牌．食指在牌疊的一端，其他三個指頭握住牌疊的右側(如圖1)。
2．右手伸到左手牌疊上，食指壓住頂牌的牌背，拇指和其他三個指頭輕輕卡住牌的兩端。右手拇指在牌疊裏端把頂牌揭起來一點點(如圖2)。

3．右手拇指再將第2張牌同時揭起來一些，左手小指頭輕輕壓住牌疊的右後角，兩張提起的牌就不會落下。
4．鬆開右手．頂上的兩張牌合到一起。但由於左手小指頭的作用，兩張頂牌與下面的牌疊有一間隙，只要間隙不朝觀眾或將牌疊稍微擺動，觀眾是看不出來的(如圖3)。

5．將右手伸到左手牌疊上，照揭牌時的動作．揭起頂上的2張拼到一起的牌，觀眾看去就只有1張牌。但揭牌時，右手食指要輕輕地頂住牌背，以免兩張牌之間存在間隙，被觀眾發現是兩張牌的秘密。
6．表演者讓觀眾看清第2張牌的花色點數，將兩張牌重新撲放到牌疊上。再拿起第1張牌撲放到表演桌上，請觀眾翻轉牌面示眾，原來的牌不見了，變成了一張新牌。他不知道雙提牌的秘密，認為這是原來看過的牌。
使用雙捉牌手法時，表演者的眼睛千萬不要看牌。因為你的眼睛看到哪里，觀眾就跟著看到哪里。你可一邊眼看觀眾，跟觀眾說話，一邊憑手指的感覺來完成提牌動作。
